Prerequisites to Monitor Windows Workstations, VDI Hosts, and WVD Hosts
If you will be using Remote Desktop Commander to monitor Windows workstations, such as physical Windows 8/Windows 10 systems inside a corporate firewall, virtualized Windows 8/Windows 10 systems running on a Remote Desktop Virtualization Host, or multi-user Windows 10 systems running in a Windows Virtual Desktop host pool, please use this checklist to ensure that these devices are “pollable” from our software.
1.) Make sure our service account in your Windows domain is an administrator on all of the monitored workstations.
2.) On each Windows workstation to be monitored, please make sure the following Windows Firewall exceptions are enabled, IF the Windows Firewall is enabled on those systems.
